The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame won it all in 1988, as they went undefeated that season, took home a National Championship and bested West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl. They won, in part, thanks to the combined efforts of nose tackle Chris Zorich, quarterback Tony Rice, receiver Raghib "Rocket" Ismail, linebacker Michael Stonebreaker and Coach Lou Holtz. This Notre Dame Game Model football has been signed by each of these players and Coach Lou Holtz. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included. This item is a Limited Edition of 88.
Knute Rockne is one of the finest coaches ever in the college game. He compiled a record of 105-12-5 over 13 years and won six National Championships while at Notre Dame. He might be best known for his win one for the Gipper speech. That speech is referenced to daily by coaches around the country and almost all athletes have heard it during there playing days.
